More Details
The Maxi Rider is constructed from moulded polypropylene. It is foam padded and has a plush synthetic cover.

The seat can be positioned in an upright or reclined position. It reclines by pulling out the recline bar underneath the seat. Both positions (upright and reclined) can be used in child restraint and booster seat modes.

It has push button harness which is adjustable.

Four different colour combinations are available.

Child Car Restraint:
Used as a forward facing car seat for a user from 8kg to 18kg. The built in, six point harness has three shoulder positions to adjust for height. The car's lap sash seat belt and the restraint's upper anchorage strap are used to attach the child restraint to the vehicle.

Booster Seat:
Suitable for children from 14kg to 26kg, can be used as a booster seat. The built in harness is guaranteed for use only up to 18kg and is stored away in a compartment in the seat when used as a booster seat. The booster seat is secured to the vehicle by an upper anchorage strap. The user is secured in to the booster seat by the vehicle lap sash seat belt, not just a lap belt. The lap sash belt is kept in the right position near the user's neck and shoulder by a sash locator clip. Alternatively the user can be secured with a lap seat belt and Protecta child safety harness or with a lap sash seat belt that is converted to a lap seat belt with a gated slide and a Protecta child safety harness.
When used as a booster seat, the Anti-Submarine clip fits in to the crotch strap and the car seat belt threads under it. The clip prevents the user sliding under the seat belt on impact.
