Short Description
An aluminium trailer that fully encloses the scooter, it has a fold down ramp and attaches to the vehicle towbar. Custom made sizes are available.

Features
The all-aluminium carrier is lightweight (150kg) and is able to be towed by the smallest of cars. It attaches to the towbar of a vehicle using a 50mm tow ball coupling. It has two wheels at the rear and a quick release jockey wheel attaches at the front to allow the carrier to be free standing when disconnected from the vehicle.
The fold-down ramp has non-slip tracks for safe loading from a road or kerb. The ramp then folds up to form the back end of the carrier. The door handles are low and ramp sufficiently light to enable use whilst seated in a wheelchair. There is a stirrup mechanism to stabilise the front wheel of the scooter during transportation.
The carrier also comes standard with lockable side and rear doors, mudguards, stoplights, tail-lights, turning indicator lights, and a safety chain. It has a side door that opens for the scooter to exit from therefore avoiding the need to reverse the scooter. There are overhead handrails to provide support to wheelchair users transferring on / off scooters in the trailer.
Tyres, wheels and bearings on the carrier are designed to allow travelling up to 110kph. Construction time estimated at 3 weeks.
