Car Seat Slide Pad

Short Description
A transfer device consisting of two sliding fabric pads which are placed on a car seat. Designed to assist the user to get in and out of a car.

Features
The transfer device consists of two rectangular pads with rounded corners. The inner layers of both pads are made of a low friction nylon material that enables the pads to slide across one another. The outer layer of the bottom pad is a slip resistant vinyl while the outer layer of the top pad is foam and velour. On the upper pad there are loops for hand grips.

When traveling, the slide pads can be attached to the car seat backrest via a webbing belt for stability.

Method Of Use
Designed to enable the user to slide more easily onto a car seat, turn themselves around and lift their legs into the car. If assistance is required, the attendant can use the webbing positioning handles to assist the user to turn around and face the front.

To use, place the bottom pad well back on the seat with the joining strap central at the back. Turn the top pad sideways to the side of the seat so that the pad is central under the user's hips. Once the user has turned around and is facing the front, fasten the buckle of the top pad around the back of the car seat to ensure that the pad does not slide forward.
