Auto Lifter Hydraulic Car Mounted Hoist

Short Description
A roof mounted hydraulic hoist which enables an assistant to lift and transfer a person from wheelchair to car seat. May be used for front or back seat. Suitable for cars, vans, 4 Wheel Drives, mini-buses or trucks.

Price Guide
Refer to supplier information for pricing details.

Features
The hoist is constructed from brushed aluminium and steel. It consists of a permanently mounted steel pack rack on the roof of the car, and a detachable hydraulic lifting system which can be stored in the boot of the car.

The lifting arm of the hoist slots into the slide bar on the car roof with an hydraulic pump and system of sliding and swivelling bars.

The lifting movement (up and down) is controlled by the hydraulic pump and release valve to lower. The sideways movement (in and out of the car doorway) and pivoting movements are controlled manually by an assistant.

The hoist can be installed by any mechanic in less than half an hour, as there are no electrical components. The auto lifter is attached to the gutter mounts of vehicles. For vehicles without guttermounts, holes need to be drilled into the vehicle roof. The auto lifter can be painted and trimmed to suit the colour and style of the vehicle.

Two lifters can be fitted to cover the front and rear seats, or two cars, and a single jack section used for both. For cars or vans with side loading doors, a second lifter can be used for loading and unloading of an electric wheelchair.

SLING is a one piece sling with foam cushion, with a single attachment point on the hoist. A small spreader bar may be used if the person finds this uncomfortable. The sling also acts as a wheelchair cushion, so the person can be left sitting on it.

CONTROL is via a hydraulic pump.

DISMANTLING/FOLDING: the jack system can be removed from the pack rack and can be stored in the boot of the car.
