Short Description
A range of motorised, remote controlled, swivel car seat lifts. Designed to be used with mini buses, four wheel drives and vans. Available for left or right hand installation. A range of models and accessories are available.

Features
The systems are made from a steel frame and the base is fitted into the car's original seat attachment points in the floor.
The seats either manually or electrically pivot to face out towards the car door. The remote control is then used to first extend the seat out of the door, then lower the seat towards the ground to facilitate transfers to a wheelchair.
The Turny can be fitted to the original car seat with the original seat belt. If more head or leg space is required, it can be fitted to a lower height seat.
The Turny seat is suitable for high vehicles such as four wheel drives and vans. Modifications to the vehicle are minimal, therefore the vehicle can be returned to its original condition when required.

Method Of Use
Method of use of Turny Orbit and HD models:
1. Release the swivel seat safety stop by lifting up the handle.
2. For the Turny Orbit model, turn the seat out 90 degrees. For the Turny HD model use the hand control in/out button to electrically move the seat 90 degrees out of the vehicle.
3. Begin lowering the seat with the hand control.
4. The seat first slides out of the vehicle, then lowers seat to the desired height.
Method of use to disconnect Turny seat from Carony wheel base:
1. Swivel Turny outwards and lower to a suitable height.
2. Transfer the wheel base to the seat rails.
3. Store the base in a suitable space in the vehicle.
4. Use the control for lifting and inward swivelling (or manually inward swivel).
Models
A range of models are available:
Turny HD - electrically operated raise and lower with manual swivel. Available in lifting range of 300mm or 395mm.The lowering end stop is programmable. Can be fitted to the driver, front passenger, or rear passenger seats. Suitable for domestic use.
Turny Orbit - fully electrically operated raise, lower and swivel. Available in lifting range of 300mm or 395mm. Suitable for domestic and commercial use.
Carony 12" Fixed - a wheelchair base that can be used with either the Turny HD or Orbit models. The Turny seat docks to the Carony wheel base without lifting the Turny seat. Available with 305mm (12") diameter rear wheels only. It has a set standard height.
Carony Kids - a paediatric wheelchair base. The Carony Kids wheel base is available with a paediatric Turny seat which features an adjsutable headrest, lumbar support, and foot support. Seat depth is adjustable to facilitate growth. The seat and backrest cushions are removable and washable. The Carony Kids is available in four models:
- 305mm (12") diameter rear wheels
- 610mm (24") diameter rear wheels
- fixed base with a set standard height
- Kids seat without the Carony system

Additional Comment
If the Turny range is installed on the drivers side then a removable or collapsible steering wheel will also be required.
