ArmRx Arm and Leg Cast Gloves - arm model

Short Description
A lightweight, polyethylene sleeve or legging that provides waterproof protection for surgical dressings, plaster casts, wounds, or skin conditions during washing or showering. Available in two models to suit arms and legs. Suitable for domestic or commercial use.

Price Guide
Refer to supplier information for pricing details.

Designed to reduce the risk of moisture-related damage to dressings and casts, or risk of moisture-related delays of wound healing.

The protectors are made of non-sterile polyethylene and are submergible and disposable but can withstand more than one use.

Available in one size only but adjustable to fit via elastic Velcro straps. Suitable for right or left arm/leg use.

Method Of Use
Open up the sleeve or legging by inserting a hand in the body of the glove to fluff open.
Gather a small amount of air in the glove, choke sleeve at end of glove and gently slide towards the end to move air all the way into end of glove.
Place arm or leg into sleeve/legging and position two Velcro straps. One strap should be placed near the proximal end of the limb being covered.
Straps should be placed at the top or bottom of the muscle mass (e.g. top or bottom of bicep or thigh muscle) and should be wrapped snuggly.
Fold any excess material over (do not cut off the excess material).
Tighten and secure the second strap on top of the doubled-over end of the garment.
Before removing from the limb, dry the glove then loosen the straps and slide off with care to prevent excess moisture dripping onto the protected area.

Each arm and leg model is available in one size only.

Place Of Manufacture
United States of America.
