Short Description
A ramp system which rests on top of a pair of standard bathroom scales, designed to enable a wheelchair user to weigh themselves whilst in their wheelchair. The person wheels onto the platform, checks their weight and then subtracts the weight of the wheelchair.

MATERIALS: Constructed of aluminium.
COMMENTS: Can be used with any standard bathroom scales.
Avoids the need for using hoists and slings to lift the person onto seated scales.
The wide channels of the ramp accommodate wheelchairs of various widths.
When seated above the scales, it is difficult to read them, unless the person can lean forward or to one side.
