This special needs swing offers total upper body support for those individuals that require assistance to maintain an upright, seated position. It also offers the opportunity to experience the excitement of their bodies swinging through the air, taking in sensory motor stimulation essential for development.
The Flaghouse® special needs, adaptive swing seats come standard with a built-in pommel to help improve pelvic positioning and prevent sliding in the seat. This pommel style swing seat is suitable for children and adults with increased muscle tone that prevents them from sitting in traditional swing seats independently and safely. Together, the pommel and the adjustable H-Harness provide positioning stability.
The Flaghouse® Swing Seat™ comes in 3 sizes, available for children with special needs approximately age 2 years to small adult.
