Short Description
This is an indoor pet toilet for apartment balconies and wherever an animal is unable to go outdoors. It consists of a tray with a synthetic grass surface mat. The urine drains through the mat into an angled base with a central drain. Beneath this is a removable collecting tray. It holds up to1.75 litres of liquid and can be emptied into the toilet. The load capacity is 300kg.

More Details
The base has been reinforced to accommodate even the largest of dogs. (It has been tested to hold up to 300kg). The surface is covered by a layer of porous, synthetic grass which simulates the pet's natural toilet environment. The grass also provides the pet with a surface upon which its paws can grip and find traction. The porous quality of the synthetic grass allows urine to be channelled down the concave surface of the base, down the drain and into the collection jug underneath. Furthermore, the grass provides a simulated "natural" surface on which the pet would feel comfortable depositing faeces for subsequent removal by the owner.

The catchment jug is shaped like a drawer which slots into the base to capture the urine as if flows down the drain hole. It can hold up to 1.75 litres of liquid and is easily removed - again like a drawer - for emptying into the toilet. The catchment jug and base are made of a plastic material that is resistant to the acidity of urine and so contains the often pungent smell that generates.

CLEANING
The Pet Loo is easy to clean. For the base and catchment jug, remove the grass and wipe down the components with warm water. Cleaning agents must not be used as it may repel the animal from using The Pet Loo. Faeces can be removed in the normal manner. Then the synthetic grass can be picked up and hosed.

The grass too should be cleaned regularly by simply pour warm water over the grass daily or alternatively lifting it out and hosing it down (in the shower if necessary), than allowing it to dry. For times when The Pet Loo is not in use, remove the grass from the base to air it out. The grass can also be easily replaced if the owner feels it necessary.
