Short Description
The DomusLift is hydraulically operated with swing landing doors. There are over 90 different variations of this lift including an optional self supporting tower which can be installed in an indoor or outdoor situation in a new or existing home. The lift has the capacity to take four adults or a wheelchair and a carer. It has a low pit and headroom requirement along with up to 12m of travel. Options are available

Door Options: Panoramic with frame and glass is available or solid door powdercoated to a RAL colour, with over 200 colours available within the standard range.
Car Safety Features: In the event of power failure, the lift will lower to the lowest floor to allow passengers to exit. This automatic emergency lowering feature is standard.
Passenger Protection: Non touch infra red doorway beams.

Installation
In NSW the owner or controller of the lift (if not the owner) is required to register their lift with WorkCover. They need to complete Form PL2 Application For Item Registration of Lift / Escalator and Moving Walkway. A fee of $65 is charged for a lift installed in a public place. The applicant must state that the plant has been inspected by a competent person and is safe to operate (use).

It is compulsory that the lift be inspected annually by a competant person. WorkCover requires payment for registration as well as an annual fee.

It is an offence to operate plant that is not correctly registered under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001.
