Short Description
Two wheelchair cushions consisting of viscoelastic polymer pads
bonded to urethane foam (on the base) to provide a comfortable chair pad. The cushions have a breathable removable cover with a slip resistant base. Available in seven standard sizes and ten customised sizes. Recommended for short term use and comfort for persons at low risk of developing pressure sores.

*These cushions may be beneficial for drivers as they are stable, low height and have good shock absorption.
Cover
Standard cover for both cushions is a breathable Economy cover with a three sided ring zipper, carrying handle and slip resistant base.

Factors To Consider
NOTE: Re: use of an electric blanket / heating pad under the gel pad.
Action Products advised that the heating pad be placed under the pad and pre-warm it. You must be extremely careful that the pad does not get too hot or develop hot spots as this will carry through the AktonŽ pad and the patient could get burned. They should not take it above 103°F as this could cause burns to the patient. If the patient has no feeling then someone must check the patient at all times to prevent burns caused by the heating pad. The Action pad merely will transfer the heat as the heating pad produces it.
Follow the manufacturer's directions when using a heating pad / electric blanket.
