Short Description
The Power Assist is a simple system of a small electric motor in each rear wheel powered by an on board battery. It is designed to attach to the Glide G2 range of wheelchairs. The assistance is determined by the amount of effort applied to the pushrim. It comes in two versions. Type A and Type B.

A Power Assist System consisting of two battery operated quick release wheels with motors in the hubs. The pressure sensitive push rims detect the degree of propelling force and automatically send the right amount of drive power to the wheels. The lightweight battery pack sits on the back of the chair.

The more effort applied the greater the assistance and vice a versa.

Models
Type A - For people having difficulty covering long distances but still have reasonable shoulder and hand function such as a person with a lower spinal cord disorder
