Short Description
A self propelled wheelchair featuring a folding, mild steel frame with removable armrests, folding backrest and swing away removable legrests. Rear brackets enable rear wheel sizes to be interchanged. Rear wheels are removable. Available in 420mm or 460mm seat widths with a range of options including an amputee bracket.

Frame: painted mild steel metal with folding single crossmember.
Upholstery: slung, padded vinyl.
Backrest: folding, fixed height.
Armrests: are padded, removable and available in either full length or desk style.
Legrests / Footplates: are swingaway, removable and adjustable in height. Plastic are standard.
Rear Wheels: Quick release wheels are 610mm in diameter. Steel rim spoked with pneumatic tyres. (Bracket allows 305mm wheels to be fitted).
Front Castors: are 203mm in diameter, narrow profile solid rubber.
Brakes: push on, lever style.

Factors To Consider
Wheelchair Restraints
When transporting a person in a wheelchair in a car or van, both the occupant and the wheelchair require an RTA approved restraint system. The wheelchair and the occupant need to be separately secured to the vehicle itself.
RTA approval is not required for a postural support, such as a harness, that supports the user in the wheelchair but is not part of the vehicle restraint system.
The use of a headrest is not legally required but strongly recommended. Easily detachable, folding headrests which fit a wheelchair with standard push handles are available. Refer to section Wheelchair, Scooter, Cushions, ramps / Postural Supports - Seating System: Restraint+ Head+Back+Seats
