Pop up toasters are the most convenient way of toasting bread and other toastable foods. Ideally a toaster toasts bread evenly to the desired "brownness", it's control knob / dial is easy to turn / slide and toasting chambers long and wide enough to fit variously sized foods. The exterior should stay cool and the crumb tray be easy to remove and clean.

*settings for toasting crumpets and muffins
*dial, slide or push button browning control
*automatic adjustment to thickness
*cord length and storage
*reheat setting
*frozen bread setting
*toast release switch
*empty chamber safety feature

Suggestions for People Who Experience Pain, Weakness or Stiffness
*Browning control device should have a large grip and be easy to turn or slide.
*Bread carriage lever should have a large grip and move up and down easily.
*Crumb tray should be easy to open.
*A product which helps remove a two or three point plug from the power point is available.
*Controls should be clearly marked and colour coded.
*A cool wall toaster will help to prevent burns.
