More Details
The unit is made with an aluminium chassis and moulded ABS casing.

The Transportable II is charged with a separate charger that is plugged into a power point and the hoist unit. During heavy usage, an optional battery pack can quickly be exchanged, thereby offering maximum flexibility. Charger output: 24 volt, 1.5 amps

Hand held push button control for up and down movements and emergency stop.
The hoist unit has down and up, stop and emergency lowering buttons.

The aluminium track is available in number of lengths and can be cut to size required.

. curved sections (45 and 90 degree). Can be cut to required curve.

A trolley assembly is mounted inside the track and an eyelet hangs down below the track. The hoist section can be hung directly from the eyelet or from a transportable reacher attached to the eyelet. The attendant can use the reacher to move the hoist horizontally. A lanyard or extension strap can be used between the track and hoist when ceilings are high.

An occupant can be moved between 2 tracks, on either side of a doorway while in the hoist. The hoist unit is moved to the doorway, a transpoint strap with carabeener device hangs from the end stop on the second rail. This is connected to the hoist. Tension is taken on the transpoint strap, allowing the hoist strap to be disconnected from the first track. The hoist strap is then connected to the second rail, the tension taken and the transpoint strap released. The hoist is then free to move in the second room. Approximately 15mm of vertical movement is required to vary the tension between the transpoint strap and the hoist strap.
