Short Description
Technical Aid to the Disabled (TADACT) can modifiy the remote control to make it easier to operate. This remote control has two large push button switches for use with a television. The red button when activated turns the televsion on and off. The green button when activated is used to change the television channels. The control is set to operate with a specific television and needs to be retrained is the televsion unit is changed. Units made to order.

Power Source
Battery operated and will run for approx. one year between battery replacements.
. uses 4 AA alkaline batteries housed at the rear of the box and accessed by sliding a cover off.
. no on/off switch for the unit, the circuit draws negligible power until a button is pressed.
Programming
Supplier recommends that the television be set up so that all the preset channels are programmed and the comtrol be set for one more channel change than the total number of channels. If this is not done the unit can get out of step with the television.
Operation
When the green button for changing channels is pressed, the television moves up one step at a time until it reaches the maximum channel. The next button press will then step it down.
