Short Description
A three person water / hydraulic lift that uses mains water pressure to raise and lower the lift no more than 3 metres from floor to floor. May be installed indoors or outdoors. 250kg load capacity. If this lift is to be used in a public building it must comply with the relevant Australian Standard. Contact the supplier for details.

Materials
External installations - Owners choice of cladding
Internal installations - Fitted to owner supplied shaft
Landing Doors:
. External Installations - Welded aluminium hollow section clad with smooth Colorbond.
. Internal Installations - External grade timber flush panel doors.

Frame
Aluminium hollow section members, all welded construction.

Electrical Controls
Electrical controls - 12V DC from an automatically recharged battery. Located in lockable panel at front of lift adjacent to bottom landing door. All stations are key lockable with momentary operation and acknowledge or car here indication. Emergency lowering facility in the event of a power failure.

Car Controls
Key lockable, up button, down button, car lighting button with the car lighting connected to an automatic time off after 3 minutes, emergency stop button

Power
Water hydraulic with direct acting cylinders attached to each side of the lift car.

Passenger Car
Swing landing doors, stainless steel handrail, slip resistant floor covering- indoor/outdoor carpet, Plexiglass ceiling with concealed lighting with auto timer, key lockable push button control, photo electric cell sensors at door openings, emergency telephone instrument and emergency lowering control.

. Delivered on site as a complete unit.
. No load bearing wall needed as lift ravels within its own tower.


Installation
In NSW the owner or controller of the lift (if not the owner) is required to register their lift with WorkCover. They need to complete Form PL2 Application For Item Registration of Lift / Escalator and Moving Walkway. A fee of $65 is charged for a lift installed in a public place. The applicant must state that the plant has been inspected by a competent person and is safe to operate (use).

It is compulsory that the lift be inspected annually by a competent person. WorkCover requires payment for registration as well as an annual fee.

It is an offence to operate plant that is not correctly registered under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001.
