A mobile, battery operated patient lifter which is designed to lift a person from a sitting into a supported standing position for transfer. It is operated by a handheld electric control. Can also be used as a rehabilitation walker by lifting the foot platform. A Transporter seat is an option.

CONSTRUCTION :
The hoist is constructed from epoxy coated stainless steel. It has a lifting boom which incorporates two attachment pieces for the sling and two handles for the occupant. A curved steering push handle is
mounted at the top of the mast. Mounted at the base of the mast is a padded, upholstered kneepad. This has a leg strap. The base leg adjustment is controlled electrically by a push button control pad.
CASTORS : swivel style.
CONTROLS : handheld on an extendable cord.
POWER : 24v rechargeable battery.
SLINGS : are provided in the following styles: . standard style of thin foam. It fits under the arms, supporting the back.
. full support sling which has extensions which fit underneath the legs. It extends up the back and fits under the arms. It offers more support for less mobile occupants.
METHOD OF USE :
This stand up lifter is designed to assist with the stand transfer of a person from a seated position to a seated position. They need to have the ability to weight bear to some extend.
The use of the underarm torso sling, weight bearing footplate and a cushioned, contoured knee pad provide the three points of support.
This style of lifter provides full access for attending to lower garments.
