Short Description
The Samson is available with either hydraulic or battery powered operation; there is also the option to purchase the battery powered model with electric base width adjustment. Load capacity is 150kg.

The following information has been sourced from the Guldmann Technical Specifications sheet for the Samson hoist - the information is limited in scope and we are awaiting further detail concerning the Guldmann slings.

Frame and chassis:
No information curently available on frame materials or construction.
Legs on the base can be adjusted in width - basic models feature manual base adjustment however electric base adjustment is available.

Castors:
Standard front and rear castors are 100mm diameter.

Mast:
Mast houses motor, battery box amd incorporates an angled loop-style push handle.

Battery:
The hoist is powered by 4 x 12V, 21 amp hour batteries.
Low battery indicator light flashes when voltage reaches critical low.

Charger:
Fully automatic charger included.
Approximately 75 lifts per fully charged battery pack.
Maximum recharge time is 8 hours.

Raise and lower controls:
Electric raise and lower controlled by hand held control, connected to battery pack via spiral cord.
Hydraulic raise and lower operated by pump lever located behind the mast.

Spreader bar and boom:
Standard inclusion is a curved spreader bar featuring 2 hook attachments either end. Optional hanger available to accommodate two band slings if toileting option required.

Boom has a padded peck-shaped end.

Safety Features:
Includes emergency stop, electronic emergency lowering and automatic cut-off when voltage goes below 17 volts.

Slings:
A wide range of slings available for use with the Samson including amputee sling, lifting vest, toileting slings, divided leg support slings and head support slings.
Available in sizes ranging from small to large.
