Short Description
This is an Australian made electric mobile hoist featuring electric base adjustment and a tilting spreader bar. There are two spreader bar options - 1) a standard yoke attachment and 2) a tilting cradle frame with hand grips. Raise and lower functions are controlled by a hand set and include electric base width adjustment.

Frame and base:
Frame comprises U-shape adjustable width base and includes swivel style castors - 75mm diameter front castors and 100mm rear braked castors.

Frame finish:
Stainless steel shafts and epoxy coated in white.

Mast:
The Joey features a single angled mast which houses the battery pack at its lower end and a loop-styled push handle towards the top.
The hand held control set can be attached to the push handle.

Boom:
The boom extends forward from the mast and has a peck (angled) shaped end onto which the spreader bar(s) can be attached.
The boom is not padded.

Spreader bar:
There are two spreader bar options - 1) a standard yoke attachment and 2) a tilting cradle frame with hand grips.
The standard yoke attachment can be used with traditional slings whereas the tilting frame a range of slings designed specifically for attachment to this frame. The tilting cradle is padded where it connects to the boom and has hand grips for the person being lifted.

Slings:
The standard yoke attachment uses general purpose slings, available in small, medium and large. Mesh slings are also available in the general purpose range- again in sizes small, medium or large.

The cradle attachment uses a cradle sling which provides trunk, head and upper leg support. These slings are available in mesh or nylon and in sizes small, medium or large. Slings are manufactured by Tech-Assist in South Australia.

Method of operation:
The hand set controls raise, lower and base width adjustment functions. The hand set is attached to the hoist via a spiral cable and can be hooked onto the push handle when not in use. It can also be positioned anywhere on the mast as it has a magnetic backing.

Batteries:
The hoist is powered by a 24volt rechargeable battery.
