I am concerned about my mother who is living with us. She is becoming frailer and seems to lose balance when showering. I have provided her with a plastic chair, which seems to do the job. What would you recommend?

My mother has just had a hip replacement and can’t bend her hips more than 90º. She wears compression stockings, but is having difficulty getting them on and off because of her hip limitation. Can you suggest anything that may help? (Stocking Aids)

My mother is in a nursing home and I am having difficulty in finding clothing that is easy for the staff to dress her in. She is incontinent and may need to be changed more that once during the day. Do you know of any clothing that is attractive but easy to take on and off?

I am finding that as I get older the toilet seems to be getting harder to get on and off. It seems a bit extreme to get the toilet bowl raised. Are there any other options? (Getting on & off the Toilet)
